At Namdev Public School, we believe that education extends beyond the classroom. Our House System forms an integral part of school life, fostering a spirit of unity, cooperation, and healthy competition among students from Nursery to Class XII.
The school community is divided into four Houses, each representing a set of values that guide our students toward excellence in academics, sports, and co-curricular pursuits. The Houses provide every student with opportunities to develop leadership, teamwork, and responsibility while contributing to the collective success of their group.
Objectives of the House System
To promote a sense of belonging and school spirit among students.
To encourage participation in academic, cultural, and sporting activities.
To nurture leadership, discipline, and teamwork.
To provide opportunities for students to showcase their talents and abilities.
To instill values of fairness, respect, and cooperation.
House Structure
Each student and staff member is assigned to one of the four Houses at the beginning of the academic session. Every House is guided by a House Master/Mistress, House Captains, and Vice-Captains who coordinate various inter-house activities throughout the year.
Regular inter-house competitions—ranging from debates, quizzes, and art contests to sports tournaments and community service projects—help students build confidence and camaraderie. Points earned in these events contribute to the annual House Championship Trophy, awarded to the House with the highest overall performance.
